Software Engineer

I was born in Athens, capital of Greece. From 1993 to 1997 I lived in Winnenden, Germany. I received my Software Engineer diploma degree from Department of Informatics of University of Peiraius. Currently I am working as a Software Engineer in Vendor & Cloud Division of SingularLogic, one of the largest Integrated IT Solutions Groups in Greece. Elaboration of my thesis concerned wind turbine optimization using metaheuristic algorithms.

Software Engineer – SingularLogic

April 2014 - Current

Software Engineer at Vendor & Cloud Division of SingularLogic, one of the largest Integrated IT Solutions Groups in Greece. Responsibilities include designing, developing and testing modules for a variety of financial and accounting web applications. Framework includes a client side part based on JavaScript frameworks (Backbone, jQuery, Underscore, ExtJS) and the server one implemented in PHP.

Later, continued working in development of C# ERP and CRM applications based on .NET framework targeted for large organizations. In these projects I coded new modules in line with pre-agreed technical specifications and investigated and resolved issues relating to application functionality.

Obtained multiple knowledge on advanced technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C, C++, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Java, JSP/Servlets. Implemented final paper with subject: “Wind turbine optimization using metaheuristic Bat algorithm”. Paper succeeded for about 20% better results from previous university researches and aroused interest even for publish in scientific magazines.
